Film + Producing

As an editorial producer, I interview experts and locate subjects, research content and develop stories, and get access to locations and subjects. As a field producer, I coordinate the crew, make sure everyone is happy and the shoot goes smoothly.

I’ve interviewed rural North Carolina farmers while riding on a mule, embedded with taxi drivers/translators in Dubai’s labor neighborhoods, and worked with NASA engineers for a National Geographic documentary on Jupiter’s moons. I’ve found and pre-interviewed subjects for sensitive-content stories on gay retirement communities, the recent Wall Street crash, and the disparity of wealth in New Orleans.
